July 2026

Thank you to all of the Members and guests who attended the NDHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 2 and everyone who could not attend but submitted a proxy. Participation in our AGM is an important part of the NDHA’s processes. The AGM is the Board’s annual opportunity to show our Membership the work we have done over the year, to describe our financial position, and to answer your questions about anything related to the NDHA. It was great that City Councillor John Pantazopoulos was able to attend and answer a few questions from the attendees. We are having a lot of engagement about various aspects of the City’s operations and seeing our Councillor directly engaged in the issues we are interested in is a bonus.

The AGM also allows us to renew our Directors’ mandate. Directors of the NDHA all “retire” and a new Board is elected at the meeting. The NDHA Board would like to recognize one of our number who has retired permanently this year, Director Kevin King. Kevin has served on our Board since 2022 and his contributions to the Board’s deliberations will be missed. The NDHA is continually looking for volunteers to help us out in a variety of roles. Please reach out to President@ndha.ca if you are interested.

Traffic Safety

Throughout the summer you will see ULS on site working to maintain our green spaces and medians. The NDHA requires ULS to adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety protocols, including having appropriate safety barriers, pylons, and signage when crews are working in or beside roadways. Working in these areas with traffic whizzing by is stressful and dangerous. Please slow down to make work safter for ULS workers. They are here to make OUR community beautiful and we can help by driving cautiously when they are around.

NDHA FAQs

Do you have questions about fences? Trees? A City right-of-way? RV and trailer parking? What the difference is between NDHA and DRCA? You answer may be in the fabulous FAQ section for you to reference for answers!

Outstanding Fees

The 2026 NDHA fee of $325 was due on June 29th.  We would like to thank all of our members who have paid their fee on time. We ask that those who have not to please remit your 2026 fee right away.  If you are unsure of your payment status, please access your membership portal.  If you have questions or concerns, you may contact the NDHA treasurer at Accounts@ndha.ca or our Membership Director at Membership@ndha.ca. Please reference your property address so we know we are working on the right account.

We are very proud of how our community looks and hope you are as well. If you happen to notice an area that might need attention such a bed being missed or damage incurred due to storms or other factors, please let the NDHA know.  We are always happy to hear from our members; please use our Residents Inquiry Form, send an email or call us at 403-237-9595.

Have a wonderful July! Safe travels to all!
