Tree Removal at Enternace

On January 20th, 2017, the NDHA was informed by KGL (the Ring Road constuction group) that removal of vegetation in the ring road corridor bordering our commmunity will commence immediately, and is scheduled to be completed by February 3rd, 2017. This largely comprises the wild aspen tree stands and other plant life in the TUC along Highway 8.

The ornamental plant material along our entrance boulevard (the Elm trees) and in the entrance median (the Schuberts and other shrubs) will be left in place until full construction begins in the spring.  As well, a small section of vegetation on the east side of Discovery Ridge Boulevard (adjacent to the Phase 1 north boundary) will be left undisturbed.

The hours of work to complete this task will be 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and will involve heavy equipment and an increase in truck traffic and noise.  For your safety, please obey the construction signs and traffic control personnel in place to ensure things go smoothly.
